Maurice Blain, a member of the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association, has practiced more than 35 years in Alberta, representing clients who have suffered personal injuries. The primary focus of his work is on investigating and building effective compensation claims for victims of serious injury and wrongful death.
Maurice is also a proud member, founder and past chairman of the International Avenue Business Revitalization Zone (17th Ave. SE) and a dedicated provider of pro bono legal services focused on assisting Calgary's Latin immigrant community.
Maurice received his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degrees from the University of Alberta in Edmonton.

Shayna joined Blain Legal in 2013, after articling and practicing at a large regional firm. She practices primarily in the areas of personal injury and estate administration. She has appeared before the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench and has participated in a number
of alternative dispute resolution processes, including judicial dispute resolution and mediations.
Prior to attaining her Juris Doctor degree at the University of Calgary in 2010, Shayna graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology (with Great Distinction) from the University of Lethbridge.
